Legal Manager (Local Indonesian - Sino-Indonesian JV)

Zhongtsing New Energy is embarking on a landmark Sino-Indonesian joint venture within the renewable energy sector. We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Legal Manager to establish our legal department from the ground up in Jakarta. This is a unique opportunity to shape the legal framework for our new joint venture, working closely with Chinese and Indonesian legal teams to ensure compliance with both domestic and international regulations. As the Legal Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing our legal team, providing strategic advice on contracts, regulatory matters, and corporate governance. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-growing industry with a competitive salary of IDR 35,000,000 - 55,000,000 per month.

In this role, you will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on regulatory compliance, and managing legal disputes. You will work closely with the company's management team to ensure that all legal matters are handled efficiently and effectively. 📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Establish and manage the legal department from the ground up, including hiring and training legal professionals.
• Provide strategic legal advice to the company's management team on contracts, regulatory matters, and corporate governance.
• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with Indonesian and international laws.
• Advise on regulatory compliance, including environmental, labor, and financial regulations.
• Manage legal disputes and litigations, ensuring that the company's interests are protected.
• Stay up-to-date with legal developments in the renewable energy sector, both in Indonesia and internationally.
• Collaborate with Chinese and Indonesian legal teams to ensure that all legal matters are handled in accordance with both domestic and international regulations.
• Ensure that the company's legal practices are in line with best practices and industry standards.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in legal management, with a focus on corporate law and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian and international laws, with a focus on the renewable energy sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing legal teams and providing strategic legal advice.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both in English and Indonesian.
• Familiarity with legal software and tools, such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and CaseMap.
• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
• Certification in corporate law or regulatory compliance is a plus.
• Experience working in a Sino-Indonesian joint venture is a plus.
